Yesterday Sagar married Ellen at St Paul’s Church in Winchester and celebrated afterwards with a reception at Winchester University’s West Downs Campus.
This was such a colourful and joyful day. Ellen, Sagar and both their families are such warm welcoming people and I’m so happy the sun shone for them. The wedding ceremony at St Paul’s church was simply beautiful. Canon Seal has known Ellen since she was a little girl so there was an extra special touch, and Ellen’s uncle had arranged for a choir, Sansara, to sing. They were absolutely amazing! This was the couple’s second big day having celebrated a Hindu ceremony a week ago. I love that they got to have two amazing days whilst respecting and honouring each other’s faith and cultures.
I have to say I thought Ellen’s dress was beautiful (loved the sash), and her bridesmaids; Cora, Jen, Elise and Binal, looked fabulous in their cobalt blue frocks. Catkin and Pussywillow also did a wonderful job with the bouquets which consisted of coral peony and roses, poppy seed heads, cornflowers and Love In The Mist. So pretty and so Summery.
Ellen and Sagar, thank you for having me along to capture your wedding day. Have a truly wonderful time in Hong Kong and Bali and enjoy your preview. Jx
