I have a relaxed and unobtrusive way of documenting a wedding day, believing that natural and candid images are the best. My style is mostly 'as it happens' unstaged shots, but at times I will also give a little direction to make the most of the light and surroundings.
Your final collection of images will capture all the colours and emotions of your day. The moments, the characters, and all the details.
I want you and your guests to feel special and enjoy having me around, not tortured! Much of the time you may not even notice I'm there. When you do I promise to be warm, friendly, and polite.
I've been a professional photographer for 11 years, but originally trained in London as a nurse. It was hands on from day one, and a brilliant foundation for dealing with any situation. Later, fueled by my mother's tales of East End midwifery (real 'Call The Midwife' stuff), I became a midwife.
After marriage and babies, I decided I needed to do something creatively fullfilling with my life, and so began this photography journey. First came family photographyand then I photographed my first wedding. Referrals came by word of mouth, and I've never looked back.
My work has been featured on many wedding blogs including Rock My Wedding and Love My Dress, and featured in You And Your Wedding Magazine, Wedding Magazine, Wedding Ideas Magazine, and Bride.
I've twice been shortlisted for best UK wedding photographer in the UK Wedding Awards, and have strong links with Surrey bridal boutique Miss Bush, having collaborated on several projects over the years.
The real measure of my success is happy clients though. I'm proud to share their feedback with you and you can read this on my Testimonials page.
"On the day Juliet was the perfect, calming presence who quietly and unobtrusively captured every single moment - there is nothing missing! We still don’t quite understand how she does it - she is some kind of photography wizard as it looks like she was in multiple places at the same time.
We could not be more delighted with our photos.
We especially love the photos of just the two of us which look so natural and we look so at ease - no mean feat! Juliet had the perfect balance of blending into the background at points but also grabbing us when she knew we’d get some good shots."

I believe it’s really important to shoot for yourself. From everyday shots of my kids growing up, to documenting my grandmother’s final days, I know no other way that tells their stories with such power and emotion.
I am animal mad! We have ducks and chickens, and 4 utterly ravishing but rather high maintenance Siamese cats!
Please feel free to follow me on social media and do get in touch if you think I'm the photographer for you!
