Kate and Oli married at Holy Trinity church in Guildford and celebrated afterwards at newly renovated Jacobean Manor Froyle Park.
This was such a great wedding to photograph. I loved hanging out at Kate’s family home in the morning and capturing her final preparations. Quite frankly I’m very jealous of her having 2 such lovely sisters. They were the perfect bridesmaids, as were her little flower girls.
Kate’s Beverly Lister frock was really beautiful – I love lace sleeves, and her bronze Hobb courts provided a totally on trend touch of metallic. Antonia’s hair and makeup for both Kate, her sisters and her mum were perfect – just look at the way Kate’s eyes ‘pop’!
It’s fair to say that the weather wasn’t particularly impressive leading up to the wedding ceremony, however somewhat miraculously the sun came out with perfect timing as Kate and Oli emerged from Holy Trinity, and remained until sunset.
This was my first wedding at Froyle Park and Kate and Oli chose well. It’s all very new, sparkly and spacious, with landscaped gardens looking on to North Hampshire countryside, not to mention the odd grazing sheep. Guests were able to enjoy a glass of fizz on the terrace with delicious canapés served by caterers Rhubarb. The Grand Ballroom provided a beautiful setting for the wedding breakfast and later live music and dancing. I was able to set up my photobooth in a dedicated area and you can see the fun and frolics here. Oh and you might also like to see Kate and Oli’s engagement shoot from back in June.
Kate and Oli, it’s been lovely getting to know you both. Enjoy your photographs. J x
Look at the crowds that gathered in Guildford High street to see Kate and Oli as they emerged from Holy Trinity. It was possibly the most thrilling confetti moment I’ve ever captured! Walking backwards down several flights of wet steps was no mean feat either. 🙂
