Jenny Packham 2013 ~ A Miss Bush Bridal Styled Shoot

I have spent lot of time photographing and being around wedding dresses these past few years, and I have to say British brides are spoilt for choice when it comes to exceptional gowns by native designers. I have already been a bride, but if I could do it all again I would start with Jenny Packham. She produces the most breathtaking wedding dresses with a huge wow factor and details and workmanship that is hard to beat. It was therefore a huge privilege to be asked to photograph the latest 2013 collection during a wedding event at Marco Pierre White’s ‘The Talbot Inn’.

The concept for this shoot, ‘Autumn Decay’, was put together by creative genius Emma Meek of Miss Bush Bridalwear. As well as the shoot, we also managed to fit in 2 catwalk shows for visiting brides. If I’m being honest it was feeling rather more Winter than Autumn such was the cold, but the girls did a stellar job (we won’t talk about the shots that needed to be censored, but delicate frocks, cold boobs, well enough said). I will also say, these frocks are so ‘hot’, that we had to be very precise in what we captured, hence plenty of lush detail. I am pleased to say however that we have been given the seal of approval.

The usual suspects joined our team to create something really special with gorgeous florals by Steph of Fairynuff Flowers and Gayle of Bloomingales. Exquisite headdresses were provided by Polly Edwards , superb makeup by the exceedingly talented Carolanne Armstrong, and joining the team ‘on hair’ was stylist of the moment Elbie van Eeden.

Enjoy the style and savour the detail. 😉
