Great Fosters Orangery Wedding Preview

A Wonderful Great Fosters Orangery Wedding Full Of Sentiment Music & Fun

Yesterday I headed back to Great Fosters to photograph Rebecca and Vlad’s wedding. This was my second day in a row at the venue, not that I minded. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I’m a Great Fosters bride myself, and I always love shooting weddings there.

As every couple is unique, my emphasis is to capture their personalities, the look and feel of their day, and their own individual stories. So I arrived refreshed and ready to tell Rebecca and Vlad’s story, and what a lovely story it is.

Rebecca, and her mum and bridesmaids, were nearly ready when I arrived, well on schedule and super calm. I had plenty of time to photograph their final preparations, pop next door to see Vlad and the guys (and give a little helping hand in tying their cravats), before returning for some last pre-ceremony shots with the girls.

The couple chose the Orangery for their ceremony, and were married by Bianca, my favourite Surrey registrar! Somehow the wedding ceremony sounds so very passionate when recited with an Italian accent! 🙂

After the ceremony, we headed out into the grounds for some portraits of the bride and groom, before group shots and candid captures of their guests enjoying the surroundings.

Vlad’s parents were not able to make the long journey to the UK for the wedding, and so a personal message read out by a friend, and mention of their good wishes during the speeches, reduced everyone to tears. I loved Rebecca’s mum’s speech too, what a lovely lady she is. The speeches were rounded off with a good belly laugh courtesy of the two groomsmen. All the emotions!

Later the bride and groom took their first dance on possibly the sparkliest dancefloor I’ve ever seen, before getting down to some serious grooves with their guests. There was even time during the evening, for a quick walk around outside to capture guests enjoying the beautiful gardens. A perfect day all round.

Becky & Vlad, it was such a wonderful day and I hope this preview (and eventually all your photographs), give you many many years of wonderful memories. Enjoy your honeymoon. J x
