Last night I had the pleasure of delivery Ryan and Paula’s wedding album to them by hand. They chose a gorgeous fine art wedding album in a beautiful plum leather featuring some lovely images from their wedding at Surrey’s Loseley Park.
The wedding was back in October 2011, and although the couple went for a wedding package that included an album, they felt they needed some time to live with their photographs before deciding on their final selection. I think it’s a really good idea to take your time when choosing images, I always stress to my couples that there is no rush, that they should take their time and come back to me to start the design process when they are really happy with their short list. Once the design process commences there is time to change your mind and substitute images again during the proofing period, and I want my couples to be thrilled with the end results.
Ryan and Paula found themselves changing their minds several times. As Paula said; “It has been truly amazing looking back over every image, so many amazing memories. I think the selection now will be so different from a selection shortly after the wedding as you look at the from a different view point, this selection has been all about feeling, so thank you so much for capturing it all so beautifully.”
I’m pleased to say the couple were over the moon with their album, and I can’t say I blame them, it is rather lovely.
Here are a few examples of Ryan and Paula’s album layouts.
