Farnham Castle Wedding Photography – Debbie & Martin

A Fabulous September Wedding At Farnham Castle With Cocktails & Mariachi Band

Yesterday I had the very best time documenting Debbie and Martin’s beautiful wedding at Farnham Castle.

I met Debbie and Martin last year (on the same date), when I photographed daughter Lucie and husband Josh’s wedding at Claridges. I was thrilled when Debbie booked me and have loved our chats in the interim, so yesterday felt super comfortable and it was lovely being back with the family.

This was a one centre wedding (yay), so everything took place at the castle. It was also a really great September day with super soft hazy light, my favourite to shoot in. Debbie and Martin were also so relaxed and great fun. Debbie in particular really lets her emotions flow, and I think this really shows from the photos that really make me smile.

As well as a wonderful supportive cast of their kids and ‘kids-in-law’, they were also supported by Stanley (the dog), who had the most important, and some may say crucial, job as ring bearer. A role he performed with utmost skill, timing, and humility. Well done lad.

Debbie looked sensation in her super sparkly Phillipa Lepley couture wedding gown, with classic fresh ‘whites’ bridal bouquet. Keeping things cool and classic, the bridesmaids wore Eau De Nile (at least that’s how I would describe it!).

This was one of those weddings where I’d have loved to have been a guest. The beef Wellington was delicious (yes, I did get to eat some), the cocktails looked amazing (no, I didn’t get to try some), and the Mariachi band knocked it out the park. Add a terrific first dance, complete with dry ice, and you have the most brilliant of weddings.

Debbie and Martin, thank you so much for asking me to capture your special day. Here is your preview. Enjoy! Jx
