I am delighted to share with you the lovely Emily and Matthew’s Farnham Castle wedding. This was the last wedding of my 2012 season and what a wedding to finish on!
I met Emily and Matthew back in the Summer after a recommendation from my friends at Miss Bush. From our very first meeting we got along famously. I loved that Emily arrived with a packed ringbinder full of colour and ideas, we chatted in great detail about their wedding plans and as is so often the case, I got rather excited too!
A few weeks later we got together again for their engagement shoot which was lovely because it helped us get to know them even more. I will always recommend getting together for a shoot for your big day, not only does it help me to understand how you feel about having your photograph taken, it helps you get to know me and how I work. The result is a bride and groom happy to chill out for a while between church and reception to get those dreamy couple shots, whilst also truly candid shots throughout the rest of the day.
I started my day at Emily’s mum’s house before moving on to All Saints Church in Fleet. Their reception was held and Farnham Castle, a great venue with beautiful grounds and spaces throughout that allow your guests to mingle and relax, whilst the Great Hall offers a magnificent setting for the wedding breakfast.
Emily and Matthew, it really was a beautiful wedding. Thank you for entrusting me with your photographic memories. Juliet. x
