A Pre Wedding Planning Meeting and Photoshoot at Claridges Hotel London
Last week I met up with the lovely Lucie and Josh at Claridges in Mayfair to combine their pre wedding planning meeting with capturing some fun engagement photographs.
Lucie and Josh will be getting married next May, so there are still plenty of elements to decide upon including finer details such as; table linen, crockery, glassware, flowers, and the general staging of their wedding. Luckily Claridges social events planner Cat, was on hand to skilfully guide the couple through all the choices available. I’d chatted to the couple via video call before they booked, but this was a great way to get to know Lucie and Josh and to chat further about their wedding plans.
I have to say it was also so lovely to see planner Cat again. I met her previously when she was a bridesmaid for my bride Phoebe when she married their mutual friend Alex back in 2015.
During the visit, we were able to gain exclusive access to The Fumoir, as well as pay a visit to Claridges florist McQueens. I was lucky enough to photograph Greg and Jack’s spectacular wedding at the hotel a couple of years ago, so it was an absolute pleasure to be back at this iconic London hotel, with it’s exquisite Art Deco decor, polished marble floors, and general opulence and style.
Lucie and Josh are so sweet and it was lovely to spend this time with them. I can’t wait to return in 2020. There wedding is going to be absolutely beautiful. J x
