Matthew and Michelle’s Battle Abbey wedding day was full of sunshine and smiles, family and friends, and a whole lot of love!
I met the couple briefly last year when I shot their friend’s Abi and Ian’s wedding, and within a couple of weeks Michelle had got in touch and booked me to shoot their wedding as well. Not only was this a great honour (the historic Battle Abbey is a school and therefore only open its doors to couples a few times a year), but it was an absolute delight. Its always a pleasure to receive referrals from previous happy couples and when they are as thoroughly nice as Matthew and Michelle, well I count myself very lucky indeed. They are quite simply my perfect bride and groom; warm, generous, absolutely loving their photography and open to any suggestions and with plenty of ideas of their own. We had a wonderful time shooting their engagement images at Hampton Court, but their wedding really was something else! I won’t say anymore, the images speak for themselves.
