A Froyle Park Spring Wedding

A Sizzlingly hot and stylish Froyle Park Spring Wedding

I met Emma and Loukas back in 2016 when they came to meet me at my house. I seem to remember my Oriental cat Mishka, flirted outrageously with them, and I’m not sure they heard a word I had to say! Luckily, my portfolio (and Mishka) did the trick, and they booked. I’m so glad they did. I waited a long time for this wedding, and it was absolutely worth it.

Fit, stylish, beautiful, sexy and hot! All words I could use to describe this wedding, as well as Emma and Loukas! Ashleigh (the videographer) and Julie (my second shooter), now have as big a crush on them as I do. They were a joy to work with, and super relaxed and happy to go with the flow. We had amazing weather, and the thunder storms that were forecast stayed well away.

I began coverage at the couple’s home, where Emma’s bridesmaids were putting the finishing touches to all their hair and makeup, whilst my colleague Julie made her way to Froyle Park to cover groom prep and the guests arriving.

The flowers for the day, provided by my friends at White Lilac Flowers, were particularly beautiful. Whilst Emma and her bridesmaids had predominantly white flowers, the venue flowers also featured soft powder blue Hydrangeas, and the grand ballroom and the garden dome, looked extremely pretty.

The couple were married in the great hall, and with 60 guests it felt relaxed and intimate. Later there was the obligatory confetti line, which is always one of my favourite parts of a wedding to shoot. So guests enjoyed the fantastic gardens, and we were able to get plenty of beautiful outdoor photos. The cake was cut nice and early, so that everyone could enjoy a slice with a finger sandwich to kill the munchies and buffer the booze. Then amongst the chatter and laughter, Prosecco bubbles popped to a background of Lucho Stephano and his acoustic guitar, and Spring lambs bleating and frolicking in the meadow next door. All pretty perfect.

Later the wedding breakfast was provided by Two Many Cooks, who also fed us suppliers (thank you), before speeches, more tea coffee and cake on the terrace, and dancing to a live band.

Emma and Loukas, it really has been amazing, thank you for choosing me to document your fabulous day. Here is your preview. J x
