A London Contemporary Newborn And Family Photography Session
I have such a sweet newborn and family photoshoot to share with you this morning.
Back in May 2014 I met mum Karen and dad Giles (and little Cleo the dachshund), a few days after they welcomed home newborn baby Willow. Karen contacted me again recently with the news the family were expecting their second child, and invited me to return to photograph their growing family. Within a couple of weeks Joshua had arrived and I found myself on my way back to their London home.
It was great to see how Willow had grown and of course meet baby Joshua. Having already got to know the family things were immediately relaxed. I was able to capture just the sort of images of the family I think all new parents would love and treasure. This is my style of family and newborn photography. It’s real, some shots semi-posed, many just relaxed, candid. It’s fun, natural, contemporary. Never rushed. Just everything I think I would have loved had I been smart and booked a shoot after I had my babies!
Karen and Giles, you have an utterly adorable little family (and I still want to come and steal Cleo the sausage dog). Thank you for asking me to come back. J x
